CHAPTER FORTY-THREE: THE NEW WOLF

Everybody in Palm Springs City heard that howl.

All humans thought it was unusually loud.

The wolves felt fear. That howl was not from a member of their pack. It was louder than their Alpha's loudest howl, and it came from the top of their rocks.

A few Omegas morphed into their wolf forms and jumped into the woods, running to see who the intruder was. Was it a wolf from another pack? Why did he have this howl that put fear into the hearts of every wolf who heard it?

After some time, other listening werewolves heard yelps from familiar wolves, and knew that the Omegas who had run into the woods had run into a sort of danger or something that could frighten them, and every werewolf morphed into their wolf form and jumped into the woods.

There seemed to be some sort of danger that the Omegas had run into, and they had to go see it. Every wolf in Palm Springs City found an excuse to morph. Those among humans took excuses and ran into the woods. Those in offices jumped out of their windows
