Chapter Four

“So, what’s this pack called and who are these two assholes you want me to meet?” I asked my father then chugged the rest of my beer.

“It's the liberty pack and the assholes are Vincent and Kane.”

He drank the rest of his beer, then stood up and took my empty bottle from me. Heading over to the kitchen, he threw the two empties away and got two fresh ones out of the refrigerator. He handed me both to open, which I did, then took his back and sat down on the couch.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. Those two asshats, seriously? How are they going to help me? They’re all brawn and no brain, the pair of them.”

“I know, but you’d be surprised. They have inside knowledge of Driscoll the Alpha. They used to hang with his pack before they got kicked out for not obeying orders.”

I rolled my eyes, thinking that was typical of them. They literally just got wasted, hit on girls, started brawls, then puked on themselves and passed out. I’d seen it so many times and I’d even banned them from the boat
