Chapter Seven

We managed to set up camp about a twenty-minute walk from Driscoll’s pack. We knew it wouldn't take long for some of his scouts to spot us and that's exactly what we wanted. We expected to be captured and taken directly to Driscoll. The plan then was to ask him if we could join his pack. There was no way he would turn down three werewolves who had accepted their Alpha wolf. He’d keep us under supervision of course, just in case we tried to overthrow him, but if we were able to make friends with pack members and behaved ourselves, made ourselves usefully, hopefully he would accept us. Once he did, we’d pounce.

Vincent set up his and Kane’s tents, while Kane built a fire. I was finishing off my own tent. The night was cool, but once I'd sat by the roaring fire, I warmed right up.
