The wind from the sea bit deep into my skin.

“I need to stop feeling. I need to not feel. I need to stop thinking..” I mutter over and over to myself as I rush into the changing room.

Hurriedly, I change into my surfing gear and without doing any form of stretches, I paddle into the cool water. Desperate to stop thinking. Being on the water muted all of my thoughts. And I very much needed to stop hearing the last words Cecilia told me before I dashed here.

“You played with someone's feelings...”

I groan and push off from the board. I push off to a stand and start to surf, but my mind still felt crowded, too crowded. I needed more, I push myself even further.

I felt a cramp in my ankle but that would not stop me. I could not let it stop me.

Pushing myself even further, I felt myself lose my balance on the board. I right my legs, and continue to go forward.
