I was surprised when Dimitri showed up here today. I thought that we had kept our location secret. I mean, we did marry in secret, well, kind of. The previous fae king knew Nyalia met someone and Mykenzie and Kylani made me appear as a human. He was ok with her marrying a human. I really hated lying to him, but there was no way that he would have let her marry me. He tolerates us because of the triplets, but his only daughter, whom Mykenzie and Kylani helped him have, would have had an aneurysm.

“Who told you?” I ask.

“No one. I figured it out.” Dimitri says.

That was not the answer I was expecting. I thought we had covered our tracks well. Nyalia had cast a spell that made me look human to anyone but her.
