Solana's POV

After closing the store, I headed home, and upon arriving, I saw Allison again in her party outfit.

"No, I won't come with you, Allison," I said before she could even invite me.

"Fine, Solana," she responded, then stepped out of the house.

When Allison left, I headed towards the garden to look for Dad, and I was right, he was there, having his tea.

"Hi, Dad,"

I kissed him on the cheek and sat on the wooden bench in our garden.

"How's work?" he asked.

I let out a tired sigh as exhaustion surged through my body. I was happy that we had many customers, but it meant my whole body would ache because I stood all afternoon attending to their needs and entertaining them.

"Tiring," I replied, leaning my head on his shoulder like a child.

Dad's hand stroked my hair, and I felt comforted. My eyes automatically closed, and I took a quick rest.

"Remember to take a rest, Solana. You should take care of your body," he reminded me, making me smile.
