Chapter 1

Alton's POV

I stared at her face intently and I think I saw this face before.

After a few minutes, I finally realized who she is. Solana Reev, daughter of Alicia Reev, the woman that my father fancied. The reason why my mother is removed from the picture.

This woman must have gotten her mother's desperation.

"Who are you?" I asked acting clueless that I haven't had her background check. I know her too well.

"Solana Reev," she confidently uttered then extended her hand.

"Your place or mine?" I asked after hearing her name.

I can imagine my father's horrified look once he found out that I slept with my soon-to-be step-sister.

"Your place," she responded without any hesitation so I nod my head and then threw the cigarette on the floor before walking towards my car.

I opened the door on the driver's seat and then stepped inside. Solana on the other hand occupied the shotgun seat.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked before starting the engine. I looked at her intently and after a while, she let out a deep breath and then nodded her head.

I pulled my car from the parking lot and then drove towards my condo. After a few minutes of driving we arrived so I carefully park my car and then stepped out.

Solana followed me until we reached my unit. I punched the code and when the door opened I invited her inside.

"Get yourself comfortable I'll just-" before I could finish my word Solana encircled her arms around my nape and looked at me intently.

I can smell liquor on her breath.

"After this night you won't forget my name," she uttered which made me smile.

I think it's the other way around Solana.

I grabbed her waist and then pull her body closer to mine. I claimed her lips and she fight the intensity of my kisses.

We fight tongue to tongue while I lift her on the floor and walk towards my bedroom.

I stepped inside my room and then threw her on the soft mattress. I placed myself on top of her and claimed her lips once again.

I heard her soft moans and it turns me on even more. For a moment I forget the hate that I felt towards this woman.

I removed everything that covers her body and when she is completely naked I entered her without any warning.

I saw pain cross her face when I started moving inside her.

"Is this your first time?" I asked and with a painful expression, she nod her head.

Guilt crept into my system. I was about to pull out when she held my hand tightly.

"Don't..." she beg. I stopped moving and stared at her face intently.

"Please don't pull out..." she beg with her voice filled with desperation.

"Fuck this," I cursed then started moving inside her.

Solana's moan filled my bedroom and her moan sounds like music in my ear. When I felt my release I collapse on top of her and then kissed her shoulder blade.

I felt her hand softly caressing my hair.

"You won't forget me after this night," she repeated. I lifted my body and then looked directly into her eyes.

"I think it will be the other way around Solana," I responded then smiled at her.

And...

I was right because, on our second meeting, I saw how her eyes widen while looking at me.

"W-What are you doing here?" she asked in a panic.

"Attending my father's wedding," I responded and upon hearing my words she became pale like any minute she would pass out.

"Timothy Sanders is your father?" she asked in disbelief but before I could answer her question the wedding coordinator butted in and pulled me to the other side.

I looked at her from afar. Her eyes are fixated on me.

I smiled at her and then focused my eyes in front watching my father smiling at the woman who ruined my mother.

My fist clenched when I saw the smiles on their faces while my mother's suffering crossed my mind.

I let out a few deep breaths to calm myself.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the priest announced and upon hearing that I stood and clapped my hands.

Everyone look at me confused but I didn't mind. I saw anger plastered on my father's face but I simply smiled at him.

"Congratulations Dad!" I shouted then clapped my hands the loudest. After a few seconds, their guests stand up as well and clapped their hands.

I put my hands down and then looked at them darkly before turning my head to Solana who is watching me intently.

I gave her a cold look and then stepped out of the venue.

Before I could fully leave I heard Solana calling me. I stopped walking and then faced her.

"What?" I asked.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" I replied acting all clueless and innocent.

"What's your plan?" Upon hearing that question I can't help but laugh.

"What plan woman?" I asked back without tearing off our gazes.

"The night at the bar...this wedding, all of this isn't a coincidence right?" she asked.

I let out a deep breath and then took one step closer. I held her chin and made her look at me directly.

"Just to remind you woman, you threw yourself on me not the other way around. To answer your question, no. I am here to celebrate my father's wedding so stop accusing me of anything," I responded firmly then let go of her chin and stepped inside my car.

I saw Solana in my rearview mirror watching me as I leave the place.

I headed back to my condo to pack my things. I won't allow them to live in a fairytale while my mother is still missing.

I stepped out of my unit carrying a huge piece of luggage. I drove towards our mansion and when I arrived I saw the confusion on Martha's face when she saw me.

"Sir Alton?" she asked confirming if she is seeing correctly.

I smiled at her and then nod my head.

"Martha!" I called her name and then open my arms widely. Martha run towards me and hugged me tightly.

Martha is the one who raised me when my mother can no longer take care of me.

I can still remember those times when I hide behind Martha just to escape my father's cruelty.

"What took you so long?" she asked and after a while, I heard her sobs.

"I got busy managing my business," I responded. After a while, I broke off the hug and then smiled at her.

"Is my old room still there?" I asked. Martha nod her head and then took the luggage in my hand.

"I always clean it because I know one day you will come back," she uttered then pulled my luggage. I followed Martha as she stepped inside the mansion and when we reached my old room she faced me.

"Today is your father's wedding, have you heard?" she asked so I nod my head.

"I've been there but I got bored, "I responded.

"Have you found your Mom, Alton?" she asked while looking at me intently.

I smiled at her and then shook my head.

"You will find her," she uttered to ease the worry that I have inside.

"You should take a rest first. I will wake you up once they arrive," she assured me so I nod my head and stepped inside my room.

I roamed my eyes around then sat on my bed and after a while, I decided to lay down.

I stared at the ceiling before closing my eyes and letting myself rest.

I woke up when I heard laughter coming from the outside. I get off from bed then stepped out of my room and there I saw my father with his newly created family laughing in the living room while opening their wedding gifts.

I decided to walk towards them and when they felt my presence all eyes turned on me.

"What?" I asked with a smile plastered on my face.

"What are you doing here Alton?" my father asked as if I am no longer welcome in his house.

"I will live here again," I spoke and upon hearing that I saw irritation filled his eyes.

"What are you really up to son?" he asked which made me laugh.

"Nothing Dad," I responded then tapped his shoulder and whispered in his ear.

"Congratulations on your wedding may you live happily ever after," I uttered then fixed my composure and looked at Alicia her new wife then at Solana who is standing beside her mother.

"Nice meeting you again Solana," I uttered.

Solana look at me and I saw how fear crossed her eyes which made my smile grow even wider.

"Continue your fun, it may not last long," I uttered then walked away and headed toward the kitchen.

After a few minutes I heard someone's footsteps and upon turning around I saw Solana.

"Please don't tell them anything," she begs. I looked at her from head to toe and then took a step forward but as I take a few steps closer she will step back until her back is leaning against the wall.

I held Solana's chin and then looked at her intently.

"You are right, after that night I can't forget how you taste," I uttered then my lips rose for a smirk.

I leaned my face closer until our faces are a few inches closer and with one wrong move our lips would meet.

Solana tried pushing me away but she isn't strong enough to do that.

"Do you want to have sex with me...again?" I asked the same question that she asked me that night.

"Solana!" before she could even respond I heard her mother's voice and the sound of her footsteps getting closer.

"Get off me," she beg then pushed me hard.

I saw tears in the corner of her eyes but I didn't budge.

A few steps away and her mother will see us but we are still standing close to each other.
