Chapter 14: Bloody Murder

I closed my eyes for whatever remark I'm about to hear from him.
And as soon as I did, everything went dark. Literally.
The remark I was waiting to hear from him never came, instead the sound of bullets firing did. What the hell? Is there a show going on? Or, are real bullets being fired?! Since, I've heard the sound of bullets only once in that market, I could hardly differentiate. They did sound like real ones. And if they were, we're in serious trouble.
"Angel, get up we're going!" I got up from my seat as soon as I heard the sound of Mason's voice.
"What's going on, Mase?" I questioned him, totally puzzled.
