And as if a sudden realization hit my mind, my eyes grew big.

"C'mon Angel,  I didn't plan this for myself," he spoke, leaning towards my ear, "but if you still want to stay close, we can still go back home and--"

Before he could speak further, I slapped his arm (even though I knew it didn't even hurt him a little), moving back. Instantly, I missed the warmth of his body but didn't let it show. I was still trying to figure out my new feelings. But this was certainly not the time to assess the reason of my rapidly beating heart.

"Ouch!" he rubbed his arm where I slapped him causing me to roll my eyes at his over acting.

"Drama Queen," I chuckled, shaking my head and grabbed his outstretched hand as he led me to the dinner table.

"Kiss it better?"
