Sitting in my office I was pondering I've the events of yesterday when I received a call.
"Hello?"
"Mason! Everything is set as you told us," the voice on the other side whom Mason recognized as Dylan, spoke.
"Great!" I appreciated, calming my own self down.
I swear to God, in all these years of my life, I've never been this nervous. But it was all Angel's doing.Eversince Angel came into my life, my heart has developed this unusual habit of beating fast, uncontrollably fast. I feel like I'm surrounding by certain feelings that I'm unable to shake off me. Everytime Angel is near me, I feel calm; at peace. She my solace. The solution to all my problems.

"C'mon Angel, I didn't plan this for myself," he spoke, leaning towards my ear, "but if you still want to stay close, we can still go back home and--" Before he could speak further, I slapped his arm (even though I knew it didn't even hurt him a little), moving back. Instantly, I missed the warmth of his body but didn't let it show. I was still trying to figure out my new feelings. But this was certainly not the time to assess the reason of my rapidly beating heart. "Ouch!" he rubbed his arm where I slapped him causing me to roll my eyes at his over acting. "Drama Queen," I chuckled, shaking my head and grabbed his outstretched hand as he led me to the dinner table. "Kiss it better?"

"No." Startled by the third voice that spoke, we both turned our head towards the figure that came running towards us. Did he fight someone? Did someone hurt him? Ok, this sounded absurd because he was a strong, sturdy man himself and I bet he could fight five people at once. I felt sad when he just went to his room without saying anything. He wasn't usually like that. No matter what happened, at the end of the day, he would always give me a smile. He didn't even eat anything. I was worried and hurt by his behavior. Him ignoring me is not what bothered me, what bothered me was that he knew, he knew I had been waiting for him. I missed him.
