54: The tattoo shop

Aurora’s POV

Stepping into my tattoo shop felt like stepping into a different world, a world where I was in control, where I was the master of my own destiny. A world where I am the boss of myself where no one could order me around. No one could threaten me with punishment or even try to intimidate me.

The familiar sights and sounds of the shop enveloped me, a sense of nostalgia washing over me as I took in the familiar surroundings. The painting is my favorite color in the whole world. Pink. I mean, I just adore this color.

The scent of ink and antiseptic filled the air, mingling with the sound of buzzing tattoo machines and the low hum of conversation. It was a world that I had missed dearly during my time away, a world where I was free to express myself and create art without constraint.

As I stood behind the counter, surveying the shop with a sense of pride, my two employees entered with a bottle of champagne in hand, their faces lit up with excitement. I stare at Lynn and Oliv

Only about 30% off this book so far is actually progressing the story. It's infuriating, but the main story is good, and I want to see where it goes. I could do without all the filler, though

I like your writing and I’m very interested in the book but I don’t like how the next chapter does not move the story along ie previous chapter he went to her apartment this chapter she goes home and she is aware that he is in Canada. These chapters are fillers and that is not fair
