Ronan’s POV

“I will leave now,” Timon said in a muffled tone excusing himself.

I sat up, pointing at a chair for my uncle to sit. “Is everything okay, Uncle?” I asked. He didn't say anything and sat down first. “Did you forget something?”

Elder Callum cleared his throat and glared at me. This is the second time in less than an hour that I am getting unpleasant looks from people.

“What do you think you are doing?” He asked.

I tilted my head in confusion. “What do you mean?”

“Exactly what I mean. You have been acting strange lately and I thought to leave you to it because you are the king and you probably know what is best. But there is a reason you have the council members. It is for you to deliberate with them on situations concerning the kingdom. However, you seem to be running a sole rulership.” He said raising his voice.
