Fiona’s POV

Ronan slept so peacefully I didn’t wish to wake him up even though I knew I should. He had arrived this afternoon looking so exhausted. After eating the meal served by Isla, we talked a little and he rested his head to sleep. Every time we get this much close contact. I started to wish that things had happened differently between us.

It might sound cruel but I would have preferred he didn't regain his memory. That way we would be living together happily in Abian village and enjoying our sustainable lifestyle.

“What if he then regains his memory and doesn’t bother to look for you?” Rin questioned bringing me back to reality.

I snickered turning my head away. It is okay for someone like me to have a once-in-a-while selfish desire. There is nothing wrong with that. It just shows I have a heart and burning emotions too.
