Lance POV

J struggled with me as soon as I carried her, she wanted me to drop her so she could check if I really pardoned the boy. I chuckled, my hands wrapped around her waist possessively while I kissed her forehead, then moved to her face. Still, she fought and struggled with me to put her down.

"Put me down now. I have legs, I can walk." She hissed, wriggling her legs around like a snake.

"I want to carry you, sweetheart. You've been walking on these legs; let's pity them." I grinned, tightening my hold around her.

J is a strong being, and that's one of the things I admire about her. No matter how strong you are, she'll find a way to at least try to free herself. I was really impressed by the kind of fight she put up with her ex-bf.

"Lance, I'm warning you for the last time. If you don't put me down and let me walk myself, I'm going to bite you." She nodded, as if in support of what she said.
