J's POV

I turned around on the bed after I'd just woken from my sleep. How had I fallen asleep just when I was talking to Lance a few moments ago?

Stretching my tired arms with a small yawn, my eyes slowly fluttered open and that was when I noticed Lance was beside me.

He must have watched me while I slept because he was sitting right beside me on the bed.

Since when has he been there? I thought, looking at his face curled up in a wide smile while he brood over me.

"Lance!" I called softly as I rose up from my sleeping position. I adjusted on the bed and rested my back against the bed's headrest.

"It's good to see you're awake, babe." He said, still wearing a very bright smile on his face.

"What happened to me?" I asked him to be sure. My head spurned as I struggled to process everything because the last thing I remembered was me standing in front of him and then a total black out.
