Chapter 169

J’s POV

Gunshots and screams were heard all around and I instantly panicked at what was going on.

My eyes widened in shock, my feet were suddenly numb and I couldn’t move an inch due to the loud firing followed by the screams of people being injured.

“Get down right now, J!” Lance screamed and instantly shoved my head to the floor as a bullet hit one of the window glass in the throne room

I panicked even more at the danger right before us.

I instantly crouched to the floor covering my ears with my bare hands in tears. Why was all that suddenly happening?

I was only trying to clear my name, watching the old men spill out rubbish but I never expected something worse to happen.

When the Becker had come in and Lance instructed me to leave, I had thought it was nothing serious, I thought Lance was only trying to get me out of the old man's sight but I never imagined that it could be anything serious and worse

The gunshot continued and the sound of the firing increased even more scaring
