Chapter 57

Lance's POV

“Arghhhh!” I roared so loudly as I inserted my claws into my already closed skin to tear it back open again. Because I had spent too much time, the bullet wound had closed up leaving me with a fresh smooth skin, only I know would cause complications if I don't take the bullet out.

I didn't have to drive a long distance before I parked the car to get the bullet out yet the wound was already closed up.

“Arghhhh!” I groaned as I searched for the bullet inside my shoulder with my left fingers. I felt the small mental and finally pulled it out, causing a gush of blood to follow.

A sigh escaped my lips before throwing the bullet out of the window. It's a good thing it wasn't a bullet with wolfsbane, it would have spread greatly by now.

Reversing the car, I drove back to her house to check up on her. My mate was fond of causing trouble. There is absolutely a day filled with peace when it comes to her. It was trouble from home to work at the restaurant and then to the club.
