Chapter Seventy Four

We arrived at home and I felt so exhausted, we weren't able to buy all the things we needed because of those reporters. My mind was still thinking of who that woman is, she looks familiar, but I can't figure out who she is.

"Are you okay?" Jake asked, it's like he noticed my dull mood right now.

"Yeah I'm fine." I sputter and turn to my dressing table to take off my jewelry.

"I will help you with that," Jake said and I allowed him.

He took off my earrings and went over to my necklace.

I was waiting for him to take it off but instead I felt his soft lips on my neck as I shiver. It came unexpected

"Jake," I mumbled.

"I'm happy you came into my life. You changed my life Leah," he whispered and I smiled.

"You changed mine too." I chip in and turn to face him.

"I've always loved you Jake and I've always been determined to fight for our love. I'm sorry if I became weak the time I thought you killed mum," I mutter, but he just smiles and cups my face.
