Maddison P.O.V. Everything is blurry. My eyes don’t want to adjust to the dim light, but my ears work perfectly fine, and I can hear someone speaking nearby. They are discussing something. Someone. Maddison P.O.V. It’s been days since I was brought to this horrid place, but so far it hasn’t been too bad, for some reason no one has tried to hurt me for information. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but so far it’s just been Rick who has been here a couple of times a day to try and talk to me. It seems he has given up for now, as he has not been by my cell so far. Looking out the small window, I would say it’s just around noon, give or take. He’s usually here in the morning, afternoon and evening, but some days he’ll be here more and some days less.
