The news of Star having a mate came as a shock to me. Even as I drove my way through the busy traffic, to Jeremy’s house for the party, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It just seemed like a really big bombshell that was dropped upon me so suddenly.

What was more shocking was the audacity of her mate to reject her. How dare they?! Star is literally the most perfect mate to have! I wanted to find out who he was.

I tried to, but Star kept her lips sealed. For some reason, she didn’t want to talk about it and I was confused why, but I guess it was just too much of a touchy subject to approach.

But she had opened up to me about her abilities though. Being the supportive mother I was, I lent her the listening ear that she wanted, and I was also intrigued to know what sort of powers my daughter could have manifested. Turns out that she has illusion powers.
