After a few minutes of turning invisible, taking off the wig and the disguise, I got back into the house, nearly gasping in shock when I saw a very pissed looking Lucian sitting on the chair. From the looks of it, it seemed like he was waiting for me to come back home and suddenly I felt uneasy.

“Where were you?” He demanded with a cold voice.

“Out,” I replied simply, and in all honesty, that’s all he needed to know. It wasn’t like I was lying to him or anything, it was the truth. I was out.

“Don’t you dare play fucking dumb with me, bitch. What were you doing out? With Alex?”

As soon as those words left his lips, I felt numb and fearful at the same time. Somehow he must have seen us together, but how much did he see? When did he even spot us? Or did he hire someone to watch us? What does he know? I was paranoid.

“Are you fucking cheating on me with a mere werewolf?!” It was then my body sagged with relief. He must have either seen me coming out of his car or going in.
