Chapter 8

"S-sir..." Irma was trying to say something but when she saw the angry face of Trevor, she quickly closed the door.

"NO! TREVOR!" I called him louder and ran to come between him and the door.

I sighed in relief when I was just in time. I leaned my back on the still closed door. We were both gasping for breath. Mine from nervousness while his from rage.

"Why are you reacting this way? There is nothing between us and you have a girlfriend!"

"No one else can have you !" he rasped with his jaw clenched.

My eyes widened. I felt a heady rush when he said that.

"How dared you! You are so unfair!" I accused him. I hit his chest with my fists.

"Stop that!" he hissed as he took hold of my wrists and pinned them on my back with one of his hands.

"Bastard...!

He pulled me to him by my nape for a punishing kiss. Though it was impossible, I tried to free myself. My anger was fueled. He was once again manhandling me since he was physically stronger. I was inferior to him in a lot of things including business. He wasn't only a man slut he was also a selfish, arrogant monster! I could go on and on thinking of bad words to describe him! I kept on pushing him from me to break the kiss. When he did set my lips free, he put his big hand on the lower part of my face. His hand was almost twice the size of my face.

"I don't f*cking care what you say! You're mine! Imprint that in your head!" he said in almost clumped lips but his words were very clear.

"No! There won't be you and me ever again! We're done! " I winced when his hand on my wrists tightened and his other hand under my chin raised it. He leaned his head even lower. Our lips were almost touching again.

"The hell we are! Remember what I told you about that f*ckass outside?! That still stands!"

His warm and minty breath fanned my face.

"Don't you dare touch Robbie!" I hissed.

His eyes glittered from anger. "Don't f*cking test my temper Christina! Stay away from that *sshole or else...!"

"You are not scaring me! Leave me alone! Go to Lolla...hmp!"

He kissed me again!

"Chrissy?!" a male voice behind the door called.

I knew that voice! I pushed at Trevor's chest harder. After a few seconds, he freed my lips.

"That's Homer my cousin!" I whispered with panic in my voice.

In a firm but cold voice he said, "I will handle this!" he removed his hand which were holding my wrists then released my chin.

I was about to get away from him but he pulled me to his side and held my right hand tightly. I looked at him with a heavy frown but before I could react, he opened the door.

"Chrissy...?" My cousin's voice was worried.

His eyes went to my hand which was being held by Trevor before he raised them to him. " Teejay? What's going on?" he asked sounding puzzled.

I didn't know what to say and do. I was just helplessly looking at my cousin.

"It's good that you are here Homer. It's high time we talk." Trevor said in an emotionless voice.

I looked at him, The way he said that sounded as if he not only wanted to talk about the business.

Homer nodded then turned his head behind him for a second then returned his eyes to me.

"Someone outside wants to see you Chrissy."

I felt Trevor's hand tightened around my wrists but I didn't dare look at him. I pulled my hand but he didn't want to let it go. I had no choice but to throw him a glare.

"Chrissy..." I heard Robbie's voice.

Like Homer. he also frowned slightly when he saw me standing next to Trevor while he was holding my hand. My cousin moved away from the open door without saying anything. My ex pulled me closer to his side.

"Hi Rob." I greeted in a cheerful voice and Trevor hand squeezed my hand so hard that I almost winced in pain.

Homer cleared his throat. "Teejay maybe we should talk in Chrissy's old office. I see that her table is already here, " he commented with an expressionless tone.

Trevor didn't say anything and neither did I. Silence enveloped us for a while. I was hoping that my manslut ex would do as my cousin suggested. This whole thing was so awkward. I would definitely talk to Trevor later. He was just too much and I really had to put him in his place. He was acting as if he owned me.

Just when I thought that he won't move, he said to Homer in a very cold voice, "Okay. Let's talk but only for ten minutes. Just wait for me there."

My cousin nodded at him and at Robbie before leaving. I released a small sigh of relief but my relief wasn't long when Trevor tugged at my hand.

"Remember what we talked about. Tell him that this would be the last or I will deal with him my way!!" he said like it was just two of us. I was about to reply but he turned to Robbie who had a heavy frown while just looking at us. "Watch it Robbie Alfonso! This will be the last time you will come near her!" he warned him before he released my hand.

With one last look at me with his cold and steely eyes, he moved to the door. I held my breath when he went closer to Robbie.

I closed my eyes and almost groaned because before he completely left, he said to the other man," I expect you to be gone when I get back!" He then turned to me. " You talk here and don't close the f*cking door! "

"What was that all about?" Robbie asked me while he was still frowning when Trevor was gone.

Before answering him, I made sure that Trevor was in my old office already. I hurriedly walked to my table to get my bag.

"Come on !Let's talk somewhere else." I told him.

***

"Are you crazy?" Homer asked Trevor.

"Nope! I am bloody serious." His back was on him.

He was looking out the window with his arms folded on his chest. He could see the parking lot below.

"You did all this because of that? Wow! You are really something else!" Homer said, his voice sounded amazed.

"So now you know. I was really planning to tell you everything," Trevor said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Whew! I don't know what else to say! Should I say good luck to you or to her?"

"F*cking son of a bitch!" Trevor muttered when he saw Christina and Robbie.

She got in a black car and the latter closed the door before going around to the driver's seat.
