KABANATA 42.1 — THE TRUTH

"Bakit ba ngayon pa?"

Napabuntunghininga na lamang ako dahil sa nakaka-stress na traffic. How can I tell Raffy right now? I don't have any idea of Peter and Samantha's plan but I need to stop them and warn my bestfriend.

"Kung hindi lang sana ako na lowbat." sabi ko sa isip.

I look outside at nakita ko ang isang convenient store sa harapan ko na may nakapaskil na wifi and charging station. A big smile suddenly drawn on my face. Kaagad akong umalis sa nagsisiksikang mga sasakyan at iginarahe ang kotse sa labas ng convenient store.

Kaagad akong pumasok loob at hinanap ang charging station, but I was being disappointed when I saw that they have no any wireless charger. But luckily when I ask for help on the counter, the cashier lend me a compatible charger. I'm very fortunate to charge my phone, but while waiting to atleast charge the battery in five percent to make a call, bigla namang umiral ang pantog ko. Pumasok muna ako sa banyo at pinabantayan sa isang staff doon ang phone.
