Chapter Thirty

Erin Lockheart's POV

I woke up from a silly dream. It was... It felt so real. I dreamt of Kai saying he loves me and now, I couldn't keep my heart still. As I opened my eyes, ther first thing I saw was Kai sleeping beside me. My eyes widened from surprised and I immediately pulled back until I rolled down the bed.

I groaned sharply as I hit the floor and saw my bruises, some were almost healed. The loud thud woke Kai up and he stared at me. He didn't say anything but he stared at me. I was loss for words so I looked away and stuttered, "What are you doing here? Why are you in my room?"

He lifted the blanket exposing his bare skin and walked towards me. My face was all red as I protested, "Hey! Where are you going? What do you think you're doing? Why are-"

But before I could say anything more, he carried me back to bed and said, "You should rest more." He checked my scars and bruises, he found the bite mark on my upper thigh as it was the deepest of my scars, it took the longest t
