Chapter Twenty Eight

Erin Lockheart's POV

The next few days weren't as different. Kai still kept himself locked up in his room and housekeepers would bring him food, which he would only eat in the morning. He was a prisoner by his own wishes and each time I knock, he would tell me to go away.

The housekeepers wouldn't tell me anything. I bothered them every hour of the day and still nothing so I decided to head to Zenn's house and entered so casually. Zenn was half-naked when he woke up, surprised, he asked, "Foreign empress, what a lovely surprise."

"Good you're awake. Now, get dressed, I have some questions."

"Demanding but only Kai can order-" He started but I cut him off and said, "If you refuse to answer my questions, I'd say you lured me here and took advantage of my weakness, taking my maidenhood."

He snickered confidently, "As if Kai would believe you."

"Oh he will." I grinned devilishly, "Want me to test that theory?"

Zenn gulped hard and figured that I could actually pull it off, he faked a smil
