FORGIVE ME

A FEW HOURS EARLIER

Armstrong opened his eyes at the hospital. He looked around the room and after a while, he figured out where he was, and his mind went back to the accident he had earlier suffered.

At this moment, Courtney opened the door and walked into the room. "Oh my God!" she exclaimed. "You're awake, Armstrong!"

She ran to his side and kissed him on his cheeks. Armstrong stared weakly at her in surprise. "Courtney? What the hell? Why are you even here?"

"Don't say anything, let me call the doctor now. You must be feeling very weak," she said and ran out of the room.

The doctor came in and checked him. During that period, Courtney called his mom, who had gone back home to freshen up, and she hurried to the hospital.

When she came back, the doctor had given Armstrong some medicine and helped him sit up. He stared at Courtney and his mom, who were both sitting happily beside him and asked his mom, "What is she doing here?"

"Relax," his mom replied. "Armstrong, you just wok
