I walked up to my room, on this floor, where mom and dad’s room was also located. But her scent was not there. I walked with confusion when dad’s voice boomed in my head.

‘What is your mate doing on terrace?’ he demanded.

‘She likes to go on roof at times when she is stressed,’ I smiled as I retraced my steps and walked up the stairs leading to the terrace.
