I responded to him to clear whatever thought he may have begun to cook up in his mind, debunking the mistaken message sent across by my expression.

"Take me back home."

I ordered as I reengaged myself in the curious thought that engulfed my mind immediately I stepped foot out of Paul's hospital room, his scattered words rang through my mind like a bell wanting to be heard.

Just as the drive drove off and I began to think, I suddenly got a call from Armando who seemed to be absent from me for the entire day.

"Where are you Michigan, I called the mansion and you were not there?"

He asked me with a tense tone as if he had news to share with me, the kind that would leave me utterly stunned.

"I should be asking you that question, you disappear for how many hours and then call to ask me of my whereabouts as I do not even know yours."

I responded with a tone that resonated with my anger towards his actions, I made it clear my countenance towards him as I awaited his response.
