From Alassandra's POV

My eyes were filled with nothing but hatred as I gazed at him with nothing but disdain in my heart. The audacity of my father standing before me with a sinister grin on his face, daring to call me daughter, as if that word meant something to me now. I wanted to scream and lash out at him, but instead, I stayed silent. Knowing full well that my words wouldn't make a difference, I was powerless to stop him at this point.

"Is something wrong with you? Have you forgotten your manners? I did not raise you to be so disrespectful to your elders, let alone your parents," my father said as he approached closer.

I laughed at his words. "Can you please let me know exactly what it is that you would like me to say? Thank you so much for kidnapping me," I replied in a sarcastic tone.

My father glared at me, his face red with anger. "Why can't you just be respectful and say hello to your father?" he asked.
