Chapter 57: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason;Right One

Jack eagerly looked around waiting for his mother. The last brief encounter didn’t go that great. He realized before building a relationship with Jazz he needs to get over his past. He tried denying it but that time in his life left its mark.

“You are back,” the waitress said surprise.

Jack looked up puzzled a moment. He nods briefly asking for two coffees. She nods her head then went to prepare the order. Jack kept a close eye on the outside. He had noticed a couple of homeless women gathering around their carts.

“Hello Jack,” his mother said softly.

Shocked and surprise he looked up finding her beside his table. He hastily stood and pulled the chair for her. He instantly and shockingly noticed she was dressed smartly. He was looking for her homeless persona instead a classy lady was sitting across from him.

“Julie…what are you doing here?” the waitress placed the coffee down on the table. She immediately moved in and hug her. Suddenly embarrassed she stood upright looking apologetic
