Verania's Point of View

So, this fitting session is for the welcoming party of Ares's grandparents? Well, that's a relief. I thought it was something else entirely. But who is Helena Montero? Her name sounds familiar, but I can't recall where I've heard or seen it before.

I immediately scanned the area for Ares, and luckily, he was right behind me.

"Who is Ms. Helena Montero?" I whispered, and he raised an eyebrow, but he answered nonetheless.

"Don't you know Aunt Helena? She's Archer's mother," he calmly replied.

"Ah, sorry, I forgot—" I didn't finish my sentence because Bernice interrupted me, causing me to sigh deeply.

"Oh, look what we have here! Ares Montero, right?" Bernice chimed in with her pretentious tone.

"Yeah, and you're Bernice Asuncion, right? Mayor Benedict Asuncion's daughter?" Ares asked, and Bernice immediately flashed a smile.

"Yup! You know what, we're a perfect match... both of us being mayors' children, and it seems like our meeting today was destined!" Bernice
