Fifty Three

Melody's POV:

"It's all my fault." Amelia muttered for the hundredth time as she shuffled inside our room.

I wasn't even surprised she was saying that. She liked blaming herself for everything.

"Really Amelia, it's fine. It isn't even bleeding." I said reassuringly.

I had managed to burn my hand in the whole process of escaping the fire. Amelia had noticed that when we reached back to our dorm and she was literally freaking out over it.

She shook her head and came towards me with the first aid kit. She took out the antiseptic cream and applied it gently on my hand.

"Melody?" She asked. "Did something happen between Asher and you?"

The giddy feeling almost returned to my stomach thinking about what had actually happened. I couldn't help but think how good it felt against him. Especially when his arms were around me.

"He...made me get out alive from that shop." I answered.

She didn't look like she heard it.
