Kayla’s POV

“Okay, we are back. Let’s catch-up!” Looking at the bumps on his face I stifled a smile. He sure looks pitiful.

“You and I know that you can’t wriggle out of this…”

“I want a lawyer,” he said. Even though getting a lawyer is the fundamental human right. I felt like smacking his mouth.

“So, after all the crimes you have committed; you are demanding a lawyer?” I was getting frustrated.

Tanner’s POV

I want to stall time as much as I can. Demanding for a lawyer is my way of stalling time.

I don’t know what to do again. As I was thinking about what to do, an elderly man walked inside the interrogation room.

He looked familiar, I was wondering where I knew him from. I remembered seeing him near old Morgan at the press conference.

“My name is Tom, an agent.” This cleared all my doubts. I will never forget that name my whole life.

There are two names I vowed never to forget: Morgan and Tom.
