Chapter 25

Opening the door, Curtis saw that Margot was still sitting on the floor.

He walked over and stood in front of her as he asked, "Margot, have you realized your mistake?"

All she had to do was apologize to Tammy, and he wouldn't actually keep her locked in her room without food.

After all, she was still his.

However, Margot didn't look up or speak.

She continued hugging her knees and leaning against the edge of the bed, ignoring him completely.

Seeing her stubbornness, Curtis said, "It seems you haven't reflected on your actions yet. Continue reflecting, then."

With that, he left and slammed the door behind him.

Margot slowly lifted her head, revealing her pale face. Her heart ached deeply. Her stomach was empty and growling.

Nevertheless, she still refused to apologize.

In the dining room, Curtis couldn't help but give in. He instructed Doris, "Bring her some food."

Doris was feeding Tammy when she heard this.

She paused for a moment and nodded. "Alright, sir."
