Gabriel drove Josephine to his apartment and during the drive, he asked her what had made her stay under the rain but the only reply she gave to him was her sobs. He wondered what had transpired between her and Lucas and he could not help but think that Lucas had sent her out of his house, but knowing the kind of person he is and the few moments he had spent with him, he didn’t think he was the kind to send a woman outside in the night and under the heavy rain.
