We later found out that when I took David, he was asked to accompany Lexi in here, so once Lexi drove back with him, he would take them directly to Crescent Moon. They wanted to hold David hostage to make sure Lexi would do their bidding. It was a blessing in disguise that I didn’t allow Randall to take her back to Bernice City, or they would just fall exactly into Gray’s trap. After I reentered Lexi and David’s lives, Randall was not asked to return to their pack and was just advised they would call him if there was any need. But he was given instructions to keep communicating with Lexi, thus the visits and the messaging, even when I was there in Bernice City.
