Chapter Seventy-Eight

It has been two days since the birthday birthday, and everyone has been on their way to their respective places. Summer had decided to stay for a bit instead of rushing off to her late mate's pack, much to Claire's delight because they were both crazy, so they got along well.

Claire and I, alongside other servants, cleaned up everywhere, and set everything back to how it was before we used it. The hall and the house were back to being clean, and we stored the decorations for future use.

Today, I was going to the hospital to try my hand at working as the receptionist, even though Hayden did not want that, but after much pleading and acting out yesterday, he gave me the option of Josh following me to make sure that I did not overwork myself and to phone him if I did.

"No."No." I disagreed. "The only reason I wanted to be a receptionist was that I wanted to actually work and not just sit down in some office and have someone stand behind me, watching all my movement."
