Chapter Sixty-three

"Lex, you will be late if you keep wasting time." I heard Hayden scream, and I rolled my eyes.

"I am not playing around; I am redoing my makeup; this one is starting to sweat," I said, but if anybody who knew me well heard my voice, they would know that I was lying.

I was nervous. Alpha Joe, who was rarely home, had come back two days ago and said that he was going to be at my Luna training today. On the last day of the training, you are allowed to invite people if you want because it was mostly doing the last task and reviewing the past results.

I was sure that Hayden had told him about me being a healer because he came in with some books on the white healers and told me that his father got them. I wanted to bite his head off for telling his father about me, but then I realized that he was still his father despite everything.
