When we reached back home, I opened the door a bit and took a peek, claire was running around with the twins while Lucas sat on the chair looking at them.

"Come join us, grumpy ass," Claire taunted, then slapped her mouth.

"Don't say that, baby; that is a bad word," she told Lily, and Lucien started laughing.

"I see you guys are having a good time," I said and moved in. Hayden got in too, and sat down opposite Lucien then started discussing with him.

Elijah and Lily ran to me, and I hugged them immediately.

"Thank you for looking after them", I said and she smiled.

"That isn't going to save you from me, how could you not tell me I was busy making dishes in Lucien's house while my babies were poisoned?

"Didn't Lucien tell you?"

She shook her head. "No, he did not. He gave me the excuse that he did not want to worry me, but I am still going to get him for that. Now tell me everything that happened from the beginning, or I will shave your head off."
