“Is he really asleep?” Alpha Matthew asked me.

“Yes, he was already asleep and before that he was muttering about wanting to be great like you, mate.” I sat down on my dining chair.

Alpha Matthew smiled then let out a long sigh. “Violet’s like a sponge, soaking up everything we say. She’s itching to know more, and I can tell she’s hungry for knowledge.”

“Mila and Mali are like two peas in a pod. I think it’s normal for children,” Mark spoke up.

Alpha Matthew nodded. “I know, but sometimes I worry. What if we’re not teaching her the right things?” I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “We’ve got each other’s backs to raise Violet up right and make sure she becomes a productive member of Ethereal Hunters.”

Mark chimed in, “You know what, Violet is a real sharp cookie. She can grasp the material even if you’re just breaking it down for her, she’s quick on the uptake.”
