Chapter One Hundred and Twelve

Katya nodded,

‘I know, are you going to do a scan?’

Athena nodded and went to get the machine bringing the Consultant Obstetrician back with her. Lucas frowned when they wheeled in the scanner,

‘What the fuck?’

He looked from his Mate to Athena as she set up the machine,

Katya took his hand and smiled,

‘Surprise’

She whispered as the loud sound of the pup's heartbeat echoed around the room and the blurry picture appeared on the screen.

‘Katya?’

Lucas stared at the screen,

‘There’s something wrong’

He pointed at the screen and the Consultant checked and then double checked and just to make sure called in a colleague,

‘Well, I think this may come as a surprise to you both’

The Consultant looked up from the screen and pressed a button,

‘Your Highnesses, you are expecting twins’

‘Twins?’
