Chapter 33; Becoming Cody Whyte

Dylan knocked on Amaya’s door. Amaya looked up from her laptop and frowned. Wondering who could be at her house at that time of the day she marched to the door and checked the camera. She was surprised to see Dylan she quickly opened the door for him and he staggered in sobbing like a lost child.

“What is wrong with you?” She asked.

“Ni… Nina” he sobbed uncontrollably.

Amaya pulled him in and closed the door behind him, then helped him sit down.

“Now tell me, what did Nina do?”

Dylan broke down totally unable to catch his breath.

“She’s back with Cody… she’s carrying his child”

Amaya stood agape she slowly sat beside him and patted his shoulder.

“Such a strange world we live in, these two were together for 5 years and never had any children, now they separate for about 5 months and they’re expecting a baby?” She said and shook her head.

“I was still hopeful that she’d choose me but she went back to Cody without looking back”
