ADELINE’S POV

I stood outside the grand hall, my heart pounding in my chest. The towering doors seemed to loom over me.

The 30 under 30 dinner party was the event of the year, and I was one of the honorees. I took a deep breath, smoothing down my dress, a sleek, red dress with a modest slit up the side.

Simple, yet elegant. I paired it with silver heels and minimal jewelry, letting the dress speak for itself.

As I walked in, I noticed how beautiful it was and high fives myself for coming this far even though I worked too much.

I admired the way the room was decorated. The floral arrangements on each table were stunning, vibrant colors contrasting beautifully. The air was filled with the scent of roses and lilies.

The tables were draped in white cloths, set with fine china and gleaming silverware. Soft music played in the background, mingling with the murmur of conversation and the occasional clink of glasses.
