TRISTAN’S POV

I stepped out of the sleek black car, adjusting the cufflinks on my crisp white shirt. My black suit was tailored to perfection, hugging my broad shoulders and slim waist.

My outfit was simple but classy, a tailored black suit, white shirt, and a thin black tie. I had polished shoes that gleamed under the lights.

The lights in the building twinkled like a million stars. I ran a hand through my dark hair, making sure it was in place, and then walked up the steps.

As soon as I walked in, I felt the eyes on me. Girls giggled and whispered behind their hands, and women kept glancing at me, their eyes lingering.

I smiled at them all, used to the attention. I knew I could go home with anyone I wanted tonight.

It wasn’t that bad and I was having a good time then, I saw her. Adeline. My blood heated just at the sight of her.
