“What the fuck?” I cursed as I watched the video over and over again. I had just come out of the office and walked to my car when I looked up at the billboard directly in front of me.

I stood there, staring at the giant billboard. The city lights glared, but nothing shone brighter than Adeline’s smile.

She was next to Xander. They looked perfect together. Too perfect.

She was wearing a sleek, red dress that hugged her curves. Her hair flowed in waves, catching the light just right. She looked like a goddess.

Xander, in a sharp black suit, had his arm around her waist. They seemed like they were made for each other.
