Chapter 10: An office romance

I was just done designing the first design for the campaign with the help of one hell of a cooperative team who made me feel at home, they made me feel like this wasn't my first day at work but like I had been working over here for years and acted like they know me for years, not just today.

"Team, thank you so much. You guys did an excellent job today. Thanks for helping me out and adjusting when it came to my first day at work."

All of them smiled when they saw me after a very long time, and one of them, Lisa, who is my colleague, even gave me a friendly pat on the back.

“You know what? You’ve been a great asset, Emily. In fact, we are fortunate to have had such an opportunity,” Lisa says, speaking on behalf of everyone in her group.

“Thank you, Lisa. I am very appreciative of a warm team;” I said with a grin, and this made me feel privileged to have a team that was friendly. I went to the CEO's office with a brand-new campaign design.
