A VISIT FROM AN OLD FRIEND#36

After much contemplation, I switched directions and headed toward "The House of Delusions."I arrived at the bar some seconds later. I needed some shots to take my mind off, Hope. I couldn't believe I was in love with her. I thought I had hated her for so long, not knowing I couldn't decipher my feelings for her. It was the love I felt and not unending hatred.

I sighed and stared at the door of the bar. The last time I came here, I had fought with some men and brutally wounded them. I had a little contact with Hope before I came here. It seemed my life revolved around her, but I didn't notice until now.

I gulped hard and walked into the bar. The bar smelt of alcohol and blood. I hungered for blood. I need blood to calm down my nerves. Blood with alcohol would do the trick. I wanted the blood to go down my throat slowly and cool down my demons. And I liked the alcohol to fire up my neurons and make the feeling of the realization fade away.
