"This is useless,"Solomon said and let get off me.

I dropped to the floor and groaned in pain. He turned and walked back into the house. I sighed and laid back down, looking at the stars. They filled the night sky, scattered around it like pearls on a beach. I heard Hope rush towards me. Her face appeared, covering my view of the stars. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Desmond,"she said. "Are you alright?".

I sat up and buckled my knees with my hands. She sat beside me. I clenched my jaws as the pain eased away.

"Talk to me,"she begged.

"What do you want me to do, Hope? What do you want from me?"I roared.

I stood up and faced her. She sat on her legs, her face up as she listened to me.

"The only thing you have done ever since you came into my life is to ruin everything!"I roared.
