Rima’s POV
True to his word, five minutes later we were pulling up in front of a sprawling shopping mall.
As I stepped out of the car, I saw Travis also exiting the vehicle. Thinking that he was planning to accompany me, I turned to him.
"You don’t need to come with me. I’ll manage on my own" I said, but he quickly reassured me.
"I thought I’d use the time to do a bit of personal shopping as well" he replied.
"Oh, okay then. Let’s go" I responded, not giving it much thought.
We entered the mall and went our separate ways.
As I navigated through the busy mall, my eyes scanned various stores, searching for an item that would stand out, a gift that would be perfect.
