Chapter 41: Her Husband's Ex

He was still standing by the glass window with the empty glass wine in his hand when the door opened. Nagulat siya nang makita ang ama. Agad siyang lumapit dito at niyakap ito bago nagtanong.

"What brought you here Dad?" Pilit ang ngiti na tanong niya. 

"Well as far as I remember, I am still the President of the Del Castillo Hotel and Restaurant." Sagot ng ama. 

Pagak siyang napatawa. "Of course, you are." Naiiling na wika niya. Sometimes his Dad sounds sarcastic. Well, he should admit that he's an idiot for asking his Dad that question when the fact that the latter is the president of the hotel.

"Well, I was just kidding son." He patted his shoulder. 

"Have a seat," He shurrged and invited him to sit. Agad naman itong umupo sa upuang katapat ng table niya. 

Napagawi ang tingin nito sa hawak niyang baso. "Isn't it so early for a drink?" May halong pang-uusisa sa mga mata nito. 

"Ah this, well I was just too ti
